    What is the Acceptance Rate at Stanford University?

    Stanford has around 16,400 students comprising of around 7000 undergraduates and 9000 postgraduate students. It has a vibrant multicultural and international community with students hailing from over 90 different countries in the world. Stanford is also considered to be one of the most competitive universities in the United States with a very low acceptance rate of 5% .

    Both local and international students have access to tons of facilities. The Stanford University Libraries houses over 9 million volumes and books while offering several rooms for meeting, conferences and study outlets. Athletics is huge in this university and is actively considered an athletics powerhouse. Being part of the NCAA Division I, the university has 30 varsity sports groups comprising of over 900 student-athletes and has heavy rivalry with UC Berkeley. The university further runs over 600 student-run ventures which are directed by the student government association, the ASSU.
