These scholarships aim to attract top and talented students to the University of Alberta, Canada. The university has been endowed with more than CAD$22 million in undergraduate scholarships every year. Note that these scholarships are awarded annually to students who have gotten study permits to live and study in Canada. Some of these scholarships do require separate applications while in most cases you are considered for other scholarships after you’ve submitted an application for admission to the University.

Eligibilty
International Students on study permit who are preparing for an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta from high school with top scores from grades 10, 11, and 12 should apply.
Note that renewal of these scholarships for the second, third, and fourth years is possible when you achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.

How to Apply for the scholarship
The method of application is just online ( Please note that students must use the CCID and password) to access the awards application which they have received when they have applied for admission. References and recommendation letters will have to be completed and submitted online through a secure site. Reference letters should be completed by 11:59 pm MST December 15, 2014.
