Application deadlines in Norway
For most of the study programs in Norway, there’s only one admission period.
Please ensure that you submit your application before 1st March for programs starting in fall semester (September). If you are a native of Norway, you have the option of submitting your application before 15th April.
What happens if you can’t submit all of the documents before 1st March?
You will be given an opportunity to complete your application before 1st July. Please, enquire from your Norwegian university or college about this option.

Application deadlines in Germany
Note that in Germany, application deadlines and timelines may vary slightly from one institution to another, there are usually 2 main intakes:
January: You should submit your application before 15 January for programs beginning in the summer semester, which follows the dates shown below:
- March to August for Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen)
- April to September for Universities (Universitäten)).
July: submit your application before 15 July for studies beginning in the winter semester, which follows the dates shown below below:
- September to February for Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen)
- October to March for Universities (Universitäten)
We recommend you to contact your university’s Registrar’s Office (Studierendensekrekatriat) to learn the exact dates of application.

Application deadlines for studies at Polytechnics in Finland
Note that in Finland, For study programs conducted in English, the application period usually starts approximately 6 months before the beginning of the program. For example, if your program starts in autumn, it follows that the deadlines will most likely be by February. Please ensure that you submit all supporting documents before the deadline expires in order for your application to be considered. About 2 months after the deadlines expires, your university of applied sciences/polytechnic will inform you whether you have been admitted to the program you applied for. You will have to confirm you accept your study place after that.
Application deadlines for studies at Universities in Finland
The application period begins around November and runs through February – April depending on the study program. Please, check at the institution website the specific deadline for the course of your choice.
