TOP 5 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO STUDY IN FRANCE

    FRANCE 2EIFFEL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS:

    These are scholarships for international students wishing to study in France. This scholarship initiative was launched by the French Ministry for foreign affairs to enable universities in France to admit international students. These scholarships cover PhD, Master’s and Engineering courses. Recipients of the Eiffel scholarship studying Master’s courses receive about 1,181 Euros scholarship, while recipients on PhD courses receive scholarship amount of 1,400 Euros. They are also entitled to health insurance, round trips and recreational activities.

    IIE-DE- FRANCE MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS:

    These scholarships are for international students not older than 30 years of age and are for students hoping to pursue Master’s degrees in Ecole Centrale Paris University or UPEC. Individuals from all countries are eligible to apply for these scholarships. However, in the selection process, preference would be given to applicants from developing countries In Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the middle east. This scholarship is valued at 10, 000 Euros per recipient for the duration of the study.

    ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIPS:

    These scholarships are funded by Erasmus Mundus foundation. It allows recipients to pursue an Erasmus Mundus study program for free only within Master’s and PhD programs.

    EMILE BOUTME SCHOLARSHIPS

    This scholarship was created by Sciences Po in honor of their founder to attract the most talented students from around the world. This scholarship is only awarded to international students admitted into Sciences Po in France for either a bachelors or Master degree program. The field of study cuts across political sciences, International affairs, public affairs to finance. Luckily, the courses are taught in English and French. The number of Emile Boutme scholarships awarded to students is not known. These scholarships are specifically for students applying outside of the Europe and who have been admitted into a bachelors or master’s degree program at Sciences Po. Applicants with impeccable academic performance and trying economic situations are considered for the scholarships. Only students admitted into Sciences PO would be considered for these scholarships. Therefore, apply and get admitted into Sciences Po before applying. Deadlines for submission of application is the 2nd and 3rd of May 2015.     AMPERE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS:

    These scholarships allow international students to pursue specific master’s degrees programs at the University of Lyon. Fields of study allowed are sciences, arts and professional master’s program in teaching. The number of scholarships awarded each year is not known. International students from all over the world are invited to apply for the scholarship award of 10,000 euros. To be eligible to apply, candidates must be 26 years or less at the time of application. Candidates must also have obtained a masters year one level certificate or an equivalent certificate recognized by Lyon University. Applications would be open in December 2014.
