The application procedure varies depending on whether you plan to study in a finnish university or polytechnic.
HOW TO APPLY TO FINNISH UNIVERSITIES
You can send your application directly to finnish universities or you may fill out the online joint application form if you intend to study in English.

You can send your documents directly to the institution or use the online joint application to forward your documents.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE
You can apply for either undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Finland if you are in possession of a valid secondary school leaving certificate or Bachelor’s degree.
DEADLINES
POLYTECHNIC DEADLINES
For programs conducted in English, the application process begins roughly 6 months before the beginning of the program. For instance, if the program starts in autumn, the deadlines will most likely be by February. Please note that 2 months after the deadlines expires, the polytechnic will inform you whether you have been admitted to the program. You will then confirm to secure your place in the institution.
UNIVERSITY DEADLINES
The application period starts in November and continues through April depending on the study program. Please, check with your institution to determine the deadline for your course of study.
