Eastern Mediterranean University

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), founded in 1979, is the largest state University in North Cyprus. The programs at EMU are accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK).

EMU offers world-class education through 95 undergraduate and school programs and 77 postgraduate and doctoral degree programs provided by 11 faculties, 5 schools and Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School.

EMU has received the accreditation of top international accrediting bodies, and is one of five universities in the area to have received the high-status ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) Award in the field of engineering.

About 7500 students are accommodated in the school’s hostel facilities. EMU also rents out houses on behalf of students who wish to live off campus. Istanbul Technical University North Cyprus, situated in Famagusta, is a state university with over 240 years of experience in training and education. ITU North Since 2011, Cyprus have been admitting students into three departments namely;
