La Trobe’s Excellence Scholarship (AES) has opened spots for scholarship applications. These f study abroad free scholarships will reward academically brilliant international students who wish to enroll for undergraduate or course work programs with scholarships worth $10,000 to $20,000.
About scholarship
If you have briliant results in your academics but you don’t have the necessary funds to study abroad, La Trobe’s Excellence Scholarship is just for you. You will however br required to apply for admission into the university, receive an offer before you can submit the scholarship application. The scholarship will cover tuition fees worth $10,000 to $20,000 and will be paid across two semesters.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying for this scholarship:
- must be citizens of countries other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- must have scored 85% or equivalent in their previous academic program/ degree/, and meet the university’s English language and academic entry requirements.
- You are not eligible to apply if you are starting a Higher Degree by Research, exchange program, Study Abroad program, ELICOS and Foundation Studies program, or Diploma course.

All undergraduate and postgraduate courses as offered at La Trobe University, Australia.
What the scholarship covers
The scholarship is worth $10,000 to $20,000 and will cover tuition fees which will be paid across a maximum of two semesters (12 months). If you receive this scholarship, you still need to pay for any difference in fees for your first two semesters, fees for the rest of your course, and your Overseas Student Health Cover. To continue receiving your scholarship into your second semester, you must maintain a C grade average.
How to apply
You must first apply for admission into La Trobe University and receive an offer. Once you’ve received an offer, complete a scholarship application form (PDF 76KB) and submit it to La Trobe International at intapplication@latrobe.edu.au.
