Course Information: This course is specially designed to be the first part of the Diploma of Children’s Services or as stand alone Certificate qualification. The course duration is about 24 weeks inclusive of 240 hours practicum. This qualification gives an individual career options such as Assistant in a Child Care Centre or Family Day Care Provider. Course Information: This qualification focuses on work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation service plans and guidelines. They carry out activities related to an individualised plan, report directly to a supervisor and don’t have oversight responsible for other workers.
