Students don’t have to pay tuition fees for the majority of study programs at higher education in Luxembourg with the exemption of a few specific courses, with tuition fees starting at about EUR 600 per semester. As such, it is more or less free tuition studies at universities in Luxembourg. However, students have to pay a small registration fee of EUR 100 per semester. If you have successfully completed upper secondary studies in one o, are in possession of a valid school leaving certificate and qualify for higher education studies in your home country, you may also qualify for higher education studies in Luxembourg. However, you are requested to prove your level of English, French, German or Luxembourgish depending on the study program you have applied for. In some cases, you are also requested to take additional qualifying courses.
If you are applying for a master’s program at university in Luxembourg, you are required to be in possession of a relevant bachelor’s or equivalent degree diploma

Generally, there are two main application periods available for applicants: :
From January to February for programs in the summer semester (from February to June)
From July to September for programs in the winter semester (from September to January)
