Jolkona Catalyst is receiving its application cycle for the Fall 2015 accelerator! This is a fully funded international opportunity for entrepreneurs taking place From October 19 to November 6, 2015. Jolkona will be bringing together 16 entrepreneurs from Bangladesh and Indonesia for an intensive three-week social business accelerator. We are looking for young social entrepreneurs from Bangladesh and Indonesia working towards bettering their country. Applications are now live! Application Deadline is 7/27 at 23:59 PST.
What is Jolkona Catalyst? Jolkona is a nonprofit that brings high potential social entrepreneurs from emerging countries to Seattle for an intensive 3-week mentor-driven accelerator. These entrepreneurs are solving some of the most challenging societal issues in their communities. Our mentors include some of Seattle’s best startup talent who prepare these founders to scale and engage with investors at home & abroad.
If selected, all your expenses related to travel, lodging, and program fees will be covered by the program.
Eligibility:
- Must be founder of an active social enterprise
- Age between 22-35 years
- Must hail from either Indonesia or Bangladesh, and currently living there
- Applicants must be to attend the full program from October 19 to November 6, 2015
- They must be eligible for a J1 or B visa
- They are also expected to be Proficient in spoken and written English at the time of application
Benefits:
While in Seattle, selected social entrepreneurs will attend workshops, networking events, field trip, mentoring sessions, and pitch coaching organized by Jolkona to help them hone their business plans, gain valuable insights, and connect with local businesses leaders, universities, social entrepreneurs, funders, and impact investors.
