How to apply for Admission?
Language requirements
Programs at the University of Ottawa are conducted in either English, French or both languages. In order to be admitted, you should master one of the two official languages as demonstrated by a satisfactory score on one of the language tests recognized by the institution. The University of Ottawa reserves the right to request the result of a language test at any time, if necessary.
English-language programs
If you want to do an English-language program and you have not done at least three years full time in a university where English is the only language of instruction (aside from in language courses), based in a country where English is an official language, you should provide your official score in one of the English-language tests recognized by the University.
French-language programs
If you wish to do a French-language program and you have not done at least three years of full-time study in an institution where French is the primary language of instruction (aside from in language courses), that is an institution in a country having French as the official language, you are expected to provide the admission team with your official results in one of the French language tests duly recognized by the University.
