2015 School of Humanities Honours Scholarship at Griffith University, Australia

    aus 111The Griffith University is currently offering two Honors scholarships one for Gold Coast Campus and the other for Nathan Campus within the renowned School of Humanities. Scholarship applications are available to applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree from a recognized university and are seeking to enroll for Honours programs in the area of Arts, Communication or Journalism. Each scholarship is valued at $3,000, cash payment to be made in two semester installments of $1,500 per semester.

    Application deadline: 27 February 2015.

    Course of Study

    Scholarships are currently awarded in the fields of Arts, Communication and Journalism.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
    -have completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant and recognized discipline
    – The applicant must have achieved a minimum GPA of 6.0 in their second and third year courses respectively undertaken during their undergraduate program
    – Such Students will have to be enrolled in, or eligible for admission into any of the following Honours programs for 2015:
    -Bachelor of Arts with Honours (2005/2007),
    -Bachelor of Journalism with Honours (2104), or
    -Bachelor of Communication with Honours (2105)
    – The applicant must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status

    Scholarship Open for International Students: Students studying in Australian universities can apply for the Honours scholarship program.

    Payment of awards: Cash payments of this scholarship will be made in two installments of $1500 per semester.

       Application Process

     -All applicants are requested to submit a brief outline of their proposed research project not more than 250 words
    -As earlier stated, applicants must have achieved a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.0 in their second and third year courses during their time at an undergraduate program at the university.
