2015 International Student Merit Scholarships at Ryerson University, Canada

    ryersonRyerson University is currently inviting applications from international student for its merit based scholarships to pursue a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree course. About seven scholarships, of about $5,000 will be awarded across all disciplines to academically talented students across the world. International students are expected to possess a valid Canadian Study Permit by the time they register their courses at Ryerson University.


    The application deadline is the 1st of March, 2015.

     Areas of Study

    Scholarships are awarded to students desiring to study in any of the courses offered by the Ryerson University. Scholarships are only available for full time four-year undergraduate degree programs at Ryerson University.


    Applicants currently considering this scholarship should meet the following criteria and will be considered on a highly competitive basis:
    – Applicants should be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the first time and should have completed an application to Ryerson, using the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) by 1st March 2015.
    – You should be currently enrolled on a full-time basis in the final year of a secondary school not based in Canada (or equivalent)

    -International students must apply for and obtain a valid Canadian Study Permit by the time they start registering courses at Ryerson and are expected to maintain their International Student (Study Permit) status for the entire duration of their program in order to maintain their scholarship.

    Number of Scholarships

    About 7 scholarships are awarded each year to international students.

    Value of Scholarship

    Scholarships, worth $5,000 each, will be awarded across all disciplines to academically competitive students.

    Selection Criteria

    These Scholarships will be awarded to the most-qualified applicants. Note that decisions of the selection committee are final and cannot be challenged.
