The Dalarna University in Sweden is offering 40 international undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to cover part of tuition fees. Note that the value of scholarships for International students range between 25 % and 50 % of total tuition fees for the entire duration of a 3-4 year degree programme. Dalarna University scholarships are for students who are required to pay tuition fees for full-time temporary studies at Dalarna University. Priority is given to applicants with admission into a full-degree program (on-campus in Delarna) who have been selected in the first selection round. Note that The application deadline is March 10.

Eligibility: These scholarships are for international students who have shown tremendous interest and strong motivation to study at Dalarna University. Dalarna University scholarships are available to applicants who are required to pay tuition fees for full-time temporary studies at Dalarna University. There is no age limit; however, you are not eligible for the scholarships if you are already studying in the programme in question.
Scholarships Open for International Students: Only International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Number of Scholarship(s): Roughly 40 scholarships will be provided per year.
Duration of award(s): The scholarship is valid only for programmes starting during the upcoming academic year and is usually granted for one academic year (two terms).
Value of Scholarship? International scholarships will hold a percentage value between 25 % and 50 % of total tuition fees for the duration of any academic degree programme. Scholarships will only cover part of the tuition fees only and will not cater for accommodation, books, travel, or other incidental costs.
Selection Criteria: Great emphasis is placed on the applicant’s previous education, references and personal letter. The Vice Chancellor makes the final decision on awards. Priority is given to applicants for a full-degree program (on-campus) who have been selected in the first selection round.
Notification: Selection Decisions about who has been awarded a scholarship will be made no later than April 10, 2015 for students who will commence studies at DU in autumn 2015.
